The Technical department was established on 21st June 2004. The Technical department was carved out of the former Science department which was made up of vocational, technical and science.

The department is a special one where professional, dedicated and special teachers teach subjects with great skills and comitment. The subjects in the department are:

• Woodwork
• Metalwork
• Applied Electricity
• Introductory Technology
• Technical Drawing &
• Computer Science

The Technical department is not just an academic department. It's a department where staff work together as a team to guide students who aspire to pursue their studies in any area of the engineering and information technology courses

The students in the department are not many. The classes are fairly small but the students have full access to the use of latest facilities, tools and equipment. The department has well equiped workshops and laboratories. The department's computer room ranks among the best in any secondary school of international standard, this gives the students a huge advantage over their counterparts in other schools.

The Technical department is proud to be the Project centre of the college. The projects have brought glory to the College in and outside the state (e.g. JETS National Competition). The yearly exhibition at the annual Redeemer's day celebration is always a reference point for other schools.
